Signed Omega, Compass Lépine model, Phileas Fogg model and Chrono-Tachymetre model, all circa 1930
All with jewelled lever movements and white enamel dials, the first, a "Compass Lépine" model with silver cuvette, the dial with white upper half and grey lower half, Arabic 13/14 "real hours" indication, outer ring calibrated for the compass points, subsidiary seconds, inner red Arabic ring for the post meridian sector graduated from 1-10, circular engine-turned silver case with pink gold bezel and rim, the second, a "Phileas Fogg" model with silver cuvette, Breguet numerals, outer 24 hours indication, inner indication for several world cities and the relevant time difference to the home base Stockholm, circular engine-turned silver case with pink gold bezel and rim, the third, a "chrono-tachymetre" model with stainless steel cuvette, Breguet numerals, outer concentric six colour tachymetre scale, two small subsidiary dials indicating 30 minutes register and constant seconds, in circular stainless steel case, all movements, dials and cases signed

專家說明

The present "Compass Lépine" watch with 24 hour dial is illustrated in Omega - A Journey Through Time by Marco Richon, pp. 460 & 461 and in Omega Watches by John Goldberger, p. 13. This particular dial allows, in good weather, the determination of the compass points by pointing the hour hand towards the sun.
The "Phileas Fogg" model is described and illustrated in Omega - A Journey Through Time by Marco Richon, p. 461. It was made for the Swedish market and fitted with a "universal time" dial showing the time difference between Stockholm and the world's ten, at the time, largest cities. The original advertisement was titled Omega med Phileas Fogg Tavla (Omega with Phileas Fogg dial) with the watch being carried by Jules Verne's famous hero of "Around the World in 80 Days", straddling the continents with his faithful servant Passepartout.
