Accompanied by Rolex Garantie, Rolex Cosmograph booklet and price list dated 1.5.1974, green leather presentation box and outer cardboard packaging.

The present watch is an unusual example of the celebrated Daytona Paul Newman reference 6263 as it does not feature the luminous accents to the numerals which were standard issue on each Paul Newman dial. It can only be assumed that the application of these luminous dots was omitted during the manufacture of the dial.

Reference 6263 was introduced into the market in 1971. Different versions of the model are described and illustrated in I Cronografi Rolex - La Leggenda, Pucci Papaleo Editore, pp. 328 - 335.
