專家說明
Accompanied by Harry Winston cardboard slipcase and Z1 box.
Harry Winston commenced production of the Project Z series with the Z1 in 2004. The firm subsequently released the Z2 in 2005 as the world's first zalium chronograph made especially for diving.
Prior to its introduction, the material zalium, patented by Ronald Winston, had been reserved for use in the aerospace industry and for surgical tools. Here adapted in to this unusual and lovely case, with the design inspired by the arches of Winston's salon in New York, zalium is a zirconium-based alloy that is reportedly harder than titanium. Zalium is difficult to work with and must be machined from an ingot. Zalium dust is also very flammable.
