Reference 116518LN is most notably fitted with Rolex's in-house movement, the caliber 4130, which is an upgrade from the previous Zenith-based caliber. The new movement has over 60% less parts than its predecessor, allowing for greater reliability and easier serviceability and also manages to increase the power reserve from 54 to 72 hours. The movement also features a superior column wheel and vertical clutch. Fitted on a sporty Oysterflex rubber strap that was both developed and patented by Rolex, the watch has an opulent 18k gold case and a two tone dial which pays homage to the Exotic 'Paul Newman" Daytona watches. While still in production, it is incredibly difficult to obtain this model at Rolex authorized retailers.
