ORLANDO FLACCO (VERONA 1527-1593)

While several altarpieces and portraits by the Veronese painter survive, this is the only work of paper that can be securely attributed to him. The composition is most likely a first study for an altarpiece of the Crucifixion in the Church of Santi Nazaro and Celso in Verona.
