DAILUAINE

From the Gaelic meaning ‘green meadow’ or ‘green valley’, Dailuaine was built in 1852 in Charlestown-of-Aberlour, Speyside, by farmer William Mackenzie. Dailuaine was the largest distillery in Speyside at the end of 19th Century, and the first to be fitted with Charles Doig’s pagoda roof, now seen at many distilleries. Dailuaine’s rich and robust style is attributed to long fermentation and rapid distillation.
This Rare Malts release from 1973 is a full-bodied sherry, with fruity concentration.
