专家说明

Hayakawa Shokosai V is the fifth generation in his family to make bamboo baskets, succeeding his father in 1977 and taking over the family name. He was designated a Living National Treasure (Ningen Kokuho) by the Japanese Government in 2003 and now lives and works in Kyoto. His work is especially appreciated for innovative adaptations of traditional techniques, combined with extraordinary technical artistry, as shown in the present work.
