A flower arranging basket, of bamboo (madake), rattan and lacquer, using the kushime-ami technique
Signed to the underside in incised characters Chikuho zo (made by Chikuho), together with a fitted wood artist’s storage box (tomobako) signed and sealed Chikuho zo, and titled as above
15 1⁄2 in. (39.6 cm.) high; 21 1⁄4 in. (54 cm.) wide

Acquired directly from the artist through Tai Gallery, Santa Fe, 2003.
