LAMPO LEONG (LIANG LANBO, B. 1961)

An internationally acclaimed artist, Lampo Leong holds a PhD from the Central Academy of Fine Arts. By uniting Eastern classical ink brushwork with Western geometric structures, Leong kindles an ethereal atmospheric quality and illustrates the dynamic spark of Abstract Expressionism. Resting on the entanglement of water and ink, his eventual splashes yield an animated impression featuring surges of light bursting from an enigmatic cosmic space.
