崔岫闻 (1970-2018)

Beijing based artist, Cui Xiuwen, contributed to the new era of contemporary art in China through her avant-garde experiments with painting, video and photography. Her work provided a radical commentary on both social and gender issues by exploring the theme of the female body and how it is often contextualized by society.
