Contemporary blindstamped calf, title and author tooled on upper board (head of spine defective, without clasps, upper joint cracked but holding firm, small repair to lower cover). Provenance: ‘Ambrosius Morbanis Possessor’ (16th-century inscription on title) – bought from the Royal Public Library in Dresden, 10 July 1896 (inscription in German on pastedown, library shelf number below) -- marginal annotations and underlining.
