专家说明
Invercargill, 1,246 tons, was built in 1874 by Robert Duncan at Glasgow for the Albion Shipping Company. She was intended for the New Zealand emigrant trade and had accommodation for about 400 passengers. A fast and reliable ship, she made 26 passages to New Zealand at an average of 89.38 days. Eventually sold to Norwegian owners in 1904 and renamed Varg, she left the Clyde on her first voyage under her new ownership on 20 February 1905, bound for Christiana, but was never heard of again.
