one signed and dated 'S. Fokke in fec 1765.' and another 'S. Fokke fe' (recto), and each inscribed with the name of the month (verso)
pen and brown ink, brown wash, indented for transfer, some blackened on the verso, black ink framing lines

Designs for a series of etchings showing the twelve months in reverse. A complete set of the etchings, on three uncut sheets, is in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam (inv. RP-P-OB-50.980, RP-P-OB-50.982 and RP-P-OB-50.983).
