William John Manners Tollemache, 9th Earl of Dysart, DL (1895-1935), Ham House, Surrey, by 1911, by whom bequeathed with the house in 1935 to his second cousin,
Sir Lyonel Tollemache, 4th Bt. (1854-1952), and by descent to his granddaughter Barbara Judd (1926-2013).

专家说明

Maria Caroline Manners (1775-1805) second daughter of John Manners, Esq., and Louisa, Countess of Dysart married James Duff(1776-1857) afterwards fourth Earl of Fife, in 1799. She sadly died aged thirty in 1805 and the current work executed in 1806, was commissioned by her husband in memoriam. She is depicted stepping from a cloud to a globe whilst one of the cherubs who accompanies her pulls on her dress and points heavenward.
