Designed as a side of a butterfly, the openwork wings lined with brilliant-cut diamonds and enhanced by pear-shaped diamonds and rubies, joined to the circular, oval and pear-shaped ruby body with marquise-cut ruby antennae, mounted in platinum and 18k yellow gold, 6.0 cm long
Accompanied by report no. 73860 dated 28 March 2014 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the rubies weighing approximately 10.00 carat total are of Burma (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of heating and the colour of part of these rubies may also be called 'pigeon blood red' in the trade
Also accompanied by report no. 1178229490 dated 8 April 2014 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the natural rubies weighing 9.36 carats total are of Burma (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of heating and the color appearance of these rubies is described in the trade as "pigeon's blood"
