Lionel Estève (B. 1967)

'I try to maintain a direct link between a thought and its realisation. To be low-tech by being the most simple and direct possible; meaning to create things that I can control from the beginning to the end. That’s why I entirely produce all of my works....I see my works as mental, and I hope they exist in this way for the public. I don’t need them to understand, I want it to clear their spirit.' (L. Estève, quoted at https://www.perrotin.com/text-Lionel_Esteve-35.html [accessed 3rd December 2013])
