'Sometimes I find a subject that fascinates me and then I want to follow it. But it’s basically very random. There are no rules...I don’t know if I’ve ever painted a completely abstract work. There is always some reference to reality. If it sometimes turns not abstraction, it’s because I see paintings as essentially very sensual.
