The plates, engraved by the author, illustrate a vast range of architecture and decoration for private, public and ecclesiastical buildings, including facades, elevations and ground plans, alcoves, doors, windows, friezes, chimneys, ceilings, gates and railings, fountains, vases, arches, obelisks, gardens, columns, etc. The plates were originally arranged, and issued, in 100 cahiers with 6 plates each.
