With Girard-Perregaux Certificate of Authenticity listing the four references and dated 18 December 2002, instructions and product information. Furthermore delivered with servicing certificate by the Swiss retailer Beyer dated 30 August 2011, as well as a large veneered presentation box with steel rim on the top and metal plaque on the inside engraved Girard-Perregaux, Vintage 1945, Collection Heritage, Unique, setting pin and key.
According to the Archives of Girard-Perregaux, the set of four platinum wristwatches was created as a unique set and all four watches were manufactured in 2002.
The present set is unique as Girard-Perregaux has never before and after produced any of the four references in this set in platinum. It must be pointed out that the above references were available to the public in 18K pink gold or in 18K white gold, though apart from the tourbillon reference 99870, none are in production anymore.
For the serious collector or investor it will be the one and only opportunity to acquire a truly splendid and custom-made set of complicated Girard-Perregaux timepieces in excellent condition.
