CARTIER. A RARE, LARGE AND UNIQUE 18K PINK GOLD SKELETONISED SQUARE WRISTWATCH
拍品 2691 Louis Cartier set a milestone in the history of horology by creating one of the first modern wristwatches for men. In 1904, Cartier designed the first Santos de Cartier for his friend Alberto Santos-Dumont, who wanted a watch that could be used in flights. The iconic design became a symbol of the House of Cartier since then and the Santos collection has expanded in various types including the ever popular skeletonized version.
