专家说明

Emile Pinèdo (1840-1916) was a French sculptor, medal-maker and bronze founder. During his career he produced a large number of high-quality female figures in bronze. His delicate and elegant compositions were exhibited for the first time at the 1870 Paris Salon and enchanted European collectors. The refined charm, subtle movement and emphasised femininity of his figures appealed to the bourgeois public and rapidly became commonplace in the smart interiors of the late 19th and early 20th century.
