In the forward to "Wang Yiting's Paintings and Calligraphy", Zhang Daqian described him as a man of great virtue, and a daring artist who created great works. Wang Yiting was also a great connoisseur of the arts and was an avid collector of Chinese paintings. These paintings have been passed down through the family.
