Frans Francken II (Antwerp 1581-1642) and Ambrosius Francken II (Antwerp 1590-1632) and Studio

This painting is sold with a copy of a certificate from Dr. Ursula Härting (dated 30 March 2012), confirming the attribution and dating the work to c. 1630. Härting suggests that the main foreground figures were painted by Frans Francken II, while the followers of Abigail in the right background were executed by his brother, Ambrosius II, and the followers of David in the left background by a member of the Studio.
