Louis Philippe I (1773-1850), King of the French 1830-1848, in black coat with gold embroidered oak leaf collar and gold epaulettes, wearing the red moiré sash, badge and breast-star of the Royal French Order of the Legion of Honour and the badge of the Royal Belgian Order of Leopold

专家说明

Louis-Philippe d'Orléans, son of Philippe-Egalité who was executed by guillotine during the Reign of Terror, and his wife Louise-Marie de Bourbon-Penthièvre, married Princess Marie-Amélie of Bourbon-Naples in 1809. He became King of the French in 1830 after the abdication of King Charles X and reigned until the Revolution of 1848. He died at Claremont, formerly the home of Princess Charlotte and Prince Leopold.
