Tasting Note: Tasted well over a dozen times over the last 35 years, almost all 5-star though colour variation noted, from lemon gold to rich warm amber. Most recently, a magnum: an amazing colour, bright gold with apple-green rim; bouquet of dried apricots, honey and butterscotch; sweet, not cloying not overwhelming. Delicious flavour. Firm, crisp '28 acidity. Last tasted August 2005. ***** M.B.
