Maurice Asselin (French, 1882-1947)

Asselin frequently exhibited in France and was greatly influenced by the Impressionists. He exhibited in London between 1915 and 1919 and this work was clearly produced whilst in the British capital, having either met Sickert or seen his work exhibited.
