The artist, sold to Mr. Creswick and by descent in the family until sold to Puttick & Simpson, London, 1962.

专家说明

The younger sister of Sir Edwin Landseer, it is recorded in an exhibition catalogue of Landseer and his World, Mappin Art Gallery, Sheffield, 1972, that much to her brother's annoyance, Emma signed her own pictures 'EL' and continued to do so after her marriage.
