Accompanied by Breitling Certificate confirming the present example is number 8 of a limited series of 20 timepieces, additional commemorative Breitling Orbiter 3 Certificate, plastic carrying case, Breitling Emergencey VHS tape, frequency tester, screw driver and product literature.

The Orbiter 3 commemorates Bertrand Piccards and Brian Jones world record setting non-stop balloon flight around the world in 19 days, 21 hours and 55 minutes. Their balloon was named the Orbiter 3. Breitling issued 1999 watches in Titanium, 20 in 18k yellow gold and 20 in 18k white gold.

The Emergency wristwatch was created as a survival instrument for pilots, navigators and explorers. It is equipped with a transmitter to locate people in distress by broadcasting a signal on a frequency used by all rescue services.
