Adrien Moreau (French, 1843-1906)

A student of Pils, Moreau is best known for his fine handling of horses. His natural skill for observation did not mean he became conventional. He showed at the Salon from 1868 and his works are found in museums in Troyes, Nantes and Carcassonne.
