专家说明

The unusual ornament of the cornucopiae and Knight's helmet on the present mirror relates to a pair of mirrors supplied to either Sankey Winter, Archdeacon of Killala and Dean of Kildare (d. 1736) for his Dublin house, or for his brother, Francis Winter (d. 1743) and by descent in the Winter family at Agher House, Co. Meath (see Glin & Peill, Irish Furniture 2007, pl. 217).
