专家说明

According to his biographer Arnold Houbraken, Adrian van der Spelt was born in Leiden to a family originally from Gouda. Around 1664, he began working at the court of Frederick William I, Elector of Brandenburg. This elegant still-life, painted in 1665, was completed during Van der Spelt's residence in Berlin. Since 1989, the addition of an upright petal on the pink rose has been removed, restoring this painting to its original composition.
