专家说明

This and the following three lots were given by Stan Laurel to acquaintance, Anne Brenton. During Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy's visit in 1941 to Antigua to entertain the troops they became friendly with the family who ran the Antigua Beach Hotel where they were staying. Laurel remained in contact with the owner's daughter, Anne, and sent her letters, photographs and one of his trademark bowler hats. The collection has remained within the family ever since.
