The caption notes: 'The gigantic Delta works in Zeeland which are aimed at making Holland safe from the ravages of the North Sea are also providing opportunities for some outstanding photography by Dutch photographers. These steel reinforcements for one of the great concrete sluices provided Aart Klein with a chance to capture this strange ballet-like movement of workmen in silhouette and he has produced a design of lasting interest.'
