Probably acquired by Sir Basil Purvis-Russel Montgomery, 8th Bt.,
(1884-1964).

Sir Basil Purvis-Russel Montgomery Bt., served with the New Zealand forces during World War I, and married Amelia Alice Richards (d. 1973) of Timaru, New Zealand in 1915, so it is likely that this and the following lot came to Kinross through Sir Basil's connections with New Zealand.
