Excellent appearance. Levels base of neck or better
Tasting note: A serious wine. Aged 10 unready, showing well though still impressively deep. Substantial, almost Latour-like. Still fairly deep; fragrant; good length, quite tannic notes in 2003. Most recently showing maturity; good nose; a wine with extra dimensions. Not my idea of a lovely '85 but decidedly good. Last tasted Jan 2005 ***(**) M.B.
