signed 'A.Rodin' (on the right side); inscribed with the foundry mark 'Georges Rudier.Fondeur.Paris' (on the back of the wrist); inscribed '© by musée Rodin 1960' (underneath)
bronze with green and brown patina
Height: 12¾ in. (32.5 cm.)
Conceived in 1903; this bronze cast in 1966

Acquired by the father of the present owner in the mid-1970s.
