如何委托拍卖

A FRENCH BRONZE HORSE ENTITLED 'DJINN ETALON ARABE'
CAST FROM THE MODEL BY PIERRE-JULES MENE (1810-1879), SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY
The naturalistic base signed P.J. MÊNE and dated 1846, inscribed with title to the front edge
29.2 cm. high x 39.5 cm. wide

专家说明

Number 43 in Mène's catalogue, Djinn, étalon barbe, or as it's perhaps better known, Cheval à la barrière, was first shown at the 1849 Salon. A fine study of a stallion calling a mare, the model was edited in two sizes, the present cast being an example of the larger version.
