专家说明

Christopher Nicholson was a leading British architect and designer of the early Modern Movement in Britain. His most famous works of the thirties were comparable to the advanced modern style of his older brother Ben Nicholson, OM, (1894-1982). Records retained in the Isokon Archive at the University of East Anglia document Nicholson's close relationship with Jack Pritchard, founder of Isokon, and note an unrealised project for a chair design, as well as a 1938 exhibition stand design, produced in collaboration with Isokon. An aviation enthusiast, Nicholson died in a gliding accident in Italy, 1948.
