Excellent appearance
Tasting note: Tasted on very many occasions, notes as glowing as the wine itself. In 2003, vertical at the château: a lovely orange gold with lime-coloured rim; initially low-keyed but harmonious, its ambrosial honey beyond description; sweet yet crisp, lovely fruit and flavour, excellent acidity. 'Perfect now'. Will keep. However, most recently, some bottle variation, a deeper old-gold colour and 'old apricots' bouquet; Well nigh perfect. Last tasted at the château. Nov 2006. At best ***** Now-2040 M.B.
