Das zeichnerische Oeuvre von Giovanni Segantini ist recht klein, insbesondere weil die meisten Blätter Nachzeichnungen seiner Gemälde sind. Dies ist bei unserem Pastell nicht der Fall, es handelt sich viel eher um eine relativ spontan aufs Papier gebrachte Studie.
Dem Werk liegt ein Gutachten von Dr. Beat Stutzer vom 11. Juni 2009 bei.
The graphic oeuvre of Giovanni Segantini is quite small, in particular because most drawings are preliminary drafts of his paintings. This is not the case with our pastel, it is about one relatively spontaneous study brought to paper.
