Each with two short and three long drawers between inlaid uprights, on ebonised turned feet, one foot later, one stencilled to the back with the initial 'P' (three times),

William Atkinson's hand-drawn sketch for 'Drawers for Bedroom' (Scone Palace Family Archive) illustrates alternate designs and illustrates the ebony line-inlaid uprights similar to those seen on the present chests.
