专家说明

David Drey's shop in Chelsea in the late 1960's was described as an essential stopping-off place for the curious and acquisitive. John Harris, writing in an introduction to Christie's sale catalogue, Out of the Ordinary: The Discerning and Individual Taste of Christopher Gibbs and Harris Lindsay, 10 May 2006, recalled the tempting jumble of English busts, drawings, paintings, bronzes and decorative objects that were Drey's stock-in-trade.
