NARAHASHI ASAKO (b.1959)

The series half awake and half asleep in the water began on a snorkling and swimming holiday in Okinawa. Inspired by the many hours spent floating in the ocean, Narahashi used the competing feelings of comfort and seasickness caused by the waves to take photographs which capture this dual experience.
