Cal. 727 nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, the silvered dial with applied baton numerals with luminous accents, luminous hands, three subsidiary black engine-turned dials indicating constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, the tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case with black bezel calibrated for 200 units per hour, screw back and screw down crown, two screw down chronograph buttons in the band, stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet and clasp, case, dial and movement signed

Accompanied by Rolex invoice no. 461916 dated 1 February 2007 for the complete overhaul of the present watch amounting to CHF 2,012.

The present watch is a fine example of the celebrated Daytona reference 6263, delivered with two of the different dial versions available for this model: one with the red designation "Daytona" above the 12 hours register as well as the one signed only "Rolex Oyster Cosmograph". Recently serviced by Rolex in Geneva, its rarity is enhanced by the very good overall condition.

Reference 6263 was introduced into the market in 1971. Different versions of the model are described and illustrated in I Cronografi Rolex - La Leggenda, Pucci Papaleo Editore, pp. 328 - 335.
