Calibre 79091, 75 jewels, in-line escapement, repeating on gongs via hammers, the white dial with applied gold faceted hour markers, four engine-turned subdials for small seconds combined with days, date, minute counter with moon-phases and hour counter with months, aperture for four-digit year, in three-part case, back inscribed 1991, No. 18/50, Platinum and secured by six screws, screw-down crown, repeating slide and two chronograph buttons in the band, 950 platinum IWC bracelet, case, dial and movement signed

The IWC Grande Complication, launched in 1990, is dubbed as "one of the smallest and easiest to operate complicated mechanical wristwatches ever built", has a total of 659 mechanical parts and features 21 functions and displays. Drawing on the experience and knowledge of the watchmakers at the IWC workshops in Schaffhausen, this masterpiece took seven years to develop. Production is limited to 50 pieces per year.
