专家说明
The subject of Venus entreating her husband Vulcan at his forge to make arms for her son Aeneas, was popularly depicted by artists in the 17th and 18th Centuries. Notably, Francesco Solimena painted the scenario in 1704, possibly as part of a series of mythological scenes celebrating marriage for the Procuaror Canale in Venice, now in the Getty Museum, Los Angeles.
