AN ITALIAN WHITE MARBLE BAS RELIEF ROUNDEL

Adamo Tadolini (d. 1868) studied under De Maria, and later worked in the studio of Canova. He specialised in monuments to the international celebrities of the 19th Century, and exhibited in Italy, Paris and London (Royal Academy, 1830).
