Tasting note: The Lanson 1997 has a bright colour of buttercup gold. On a base of mineral character, different aromas are found, with at first yellow fruit dominating, and then touches of wood-land fern coming to the fore. The initial impact reveals ripe fruit into which fiery, mineral notes are blended with a very persistent finish. 47% Chardonnay, 53% Pinot Noir.
