Specialist note

As Patek Philippe’s first self-winding timepiece allying the chronograph and annual calendar complication, the reference 5960 quickly grasped the attention of collectors and became one of the most popular timepieces of the manufacture.

Encompassing the Patek Philippe in-house caliber CH28-520 IRM QA 24H made of 456 parts, the timepiece features through its dial a day, date and month aperture, a power reserve display and subsidiary dial for the chronograph function with a day and night indicator.

Reference 5960
Reference 5960 was introduced in 2006 in platinum and was joined in 2009 with a pink gold case version with the latest ‘PP’ seal movement. In 2014, the stainless steel version with a silver dial was introduced and was joined by the black dial version in 2017. Both pieces were discontinued in 2018.
