EUROPEAN, 19TH/20TH CENTURY
36 ½ in. high, 13 in. wide, 46 in. long

Christie's, New York, 23 January 2015, lot 55

Note du spécialiste

An exquisite and rare early inside stander, this camel has remarkably rendered facial features and glass eyes, and appears to retain its original harness. It was possibly carved for a children's carousel.
